My Internet is not working…
Very often we have customers calling us to report that the Internet at their house has stopped working. Most of the time it is a very basic and quick fix that you can do on your own. Here are the steps you should follow to get yourself back online:
- Locate your DSL/Cable modem, and make sure it is powered on (you should see some blinking LED lights).
- If there is no light blinking on your modem, check to make sure that the power adapter is connected on the wall and in the back of the unit.
- If your DSL/Cable modem is powered on and you still do not have Internet on your computer, check the connection from the modem to the computer. If you are connected via WiFi, make sure you are connected to the right network (your network).
- Call your Internet Service Provider (Comcast or AT&T) to make sure that your account is in good standing, or if there isn’t any outage affecting your area.
- If your ISP reports no problem, and you still cannot get the Internet to work on your computer, please feel free to call us (321.373.3988) and we’ll get you back online in no time.
